I’m a convert
I’m a chef of 40 years, so I have always been of the opinion that “Gas obeys “.
I recently did a reno on my kitchen at home, and after much consideration, decided to give the Westinghouse ceramic cook top a try.
Gotta say I couldn’t be happier.
It obeys…
It’s also the easiest cook top to clean that I have ever had.
It also looks so smart in my snappy new kitchen.
Added bonus is that my pots and pans are much cleaner. No scorch marks around the outside of them.
The other bonus is I can now justify getting a good gas bbq with a wok burner ready for summer

Decent Cook top - value for money
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 1st cook top we had (the earlier model), an accidental drop of a chap light Ikea wine glass cracked left corner of ceramic top. I would have thought the top was a bit more less fragile.
I bought the next model, virtually identical.
Overall the hotplates seem to go to the max temp setting automatically regardless what you start with, example you switch it on, set one plate to 3, but it automatically sets to the max, until you manually adjust it to 2. This quite annoying and at times dangerous.

Easy to use, easy to clean!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We are loving our Westinghouse cooktop. It heats up fast and it is easy to see which hotplate is being used. Cleaning is a breeze - just a quick wipe down with no buttons to get in the way. When not in use, we use a large silicone mat to protect the surface so we can use separate appliances on the cooktop under the rangehood. Love the sleek, simple look. Also love that it is made in Australia!

FANTASTIC VERSATILE COOKTOP THE WHC643BD
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my 4 zone cooktop which I have been using for about 6 weeks. Room enough to cook with pots and pans together. So easy to operate with finger touch precision dialing to my desired heat settings and all foods I have cooked were done to perfection. Another thing I love with this model is it's so easy to keep clean. It also has some important safety features and well lit function dials.

Cooking is so exciting.

Now I have a renewed love of cooking. My husband thinks that’s terrific. He is even cooking sometimes.

I love the heat Multi option, very handy.
I like cooking on the cooktop but find cleaning a bit challenging. Im using Cerapol cooktop cleaner after every use as well as the Cerapol cooktop protector. Just cant get the ring thats appear off it completely. What am i doing wrong?

Great cooktop
Love the size - plenty of room when cooking with lots of pots - easy clean. Wow put on Auto and it turns on the overhead vent. Timer is excellent. Instant heat. Touch control is awesome. NO KNOBS smooth flat surface.
