Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stunning TV Only had this set a few weeks ago and as the old adage goes, - You get what you pay for. The quality of the picture and sound system built in its truly stunning. Unless you are fanatical, you can get rid of external receiver sound systems and all the complicated wiring and speakers that it entails. This is what I did and now life is so much simpler changing from one HDMI source to another. Top quality remote also that comes with the set. The sound system built in, especially when watching a 4K disc is not far short of being in a cinema and the Dolby Atmos is so immersive. As for the picture, I can only describe it a stunning. What more can I say?

Design not bad, I would have perfected a rectangular base as the round edge set my TV further back on my TV unit. The most frustrating thing is not having a back light on the TV remote, can not see the TV functions in the dark, which is ridiculous on Panasonic flagship, to add it looks and feels cheap compared to other Panasonic flagship remotes. I would highly recommend that they replace this remote with a backlight and a better looking unit. Nonetheless, as a loyal Panasonic customer for the last 45 years I would highly recommend this TV. Its just a shame Panasonic has changed things that I have highlighted for worse

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent purchase Moved back to Panasonic after a few years with another brand and delighted with the overall quality. We reviewed all the rival OLED and QLED 55 inch sets and settled on this TV for its amazing picture and built-in sound quality which enabled us to remove our 20 year old external home cinema sound system for less clutter. We just plugged our existing wired sub woofer into the headphone socket to add more depth to the TV's Technics-tuned speaker set up. There is a wide range of picture and sound options depending on what is being viewed including Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos and some useful AVForums videos on YouTube to help navigate the extensive menu options in set-up. Overall this product is highly recommended.

But I am very disappointed that a simply thing as a backlight is not on Panasonic flagship TV remote. It make it very difficult to operate the TV in the dark. I cannot understand the reason why, seeing all my other TVPanasonic flagships did have a backlight. Nonetheless, as loyal Panasonic customer, I highly recommended this TV. However, it would be nice if Panasonic upgraded the he remote.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great tv and features We had a Panasonic plasma tv for 17 years and was still working fine but when we saw this tv and read the reviews from experts we thought we had to get one. We have had it for 2 weeks and have to say what a great picture it is and there is so many features on it especially compared to our old tv which is to be expected. The sound is much better with the speaker set up and we are still to use some of the features on this, we hope to get m many years pleasure from the tv and reliability which we would expect from Panasonic.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good TV Bought 2 weeks ago. TV is thinner than I thought. Sound is good which was main reason for this purchase. Speed of TB is better than LG and Samsung. The apps outside of 6 main are fiddly to get to. The remote is very heavy. Would like back lit in dark. That is it really. Google on you tube useful. Very expensive, 4 others have commented they would not spend that much.

I've had this latest flagship model for about four weeks now and previously had the 2019 TX-55GZ2000B model which impressed me so much, I decided to upgrade to the TX-55MZ2000B. I have found these to have such a natural picture and great sound built in. To watch the nature programs is a real joy.
