Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect For Teething and Hot Days, mess free [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received this when my son was 14 months old and he was getting some molars in. It is perfect to put some frozen fruit into, even blueberries, so he can walk around with it and not make a mess. He loves the cold the frozen fruit offers and the texture of the silicone on his mouth. For me, I have arthritis, I found it very easy to take apart and clean. Quick and easy to clean by hand or throw in the dishwasher. The big plus was how easy it was to take apart yet very secure that he can't take it apart. This is going to be on my must list for all new parents!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good feeder, but hard to get to at the base [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the OXO Tot Silicone Self-Feeder at home with my friend's 9 month old daughter (who is teething, so we used frozen fruit). It is simple to use and to clean. I love how easy it is for little hands to grab and hold. The one thing I found difficult is that the food is tough to reach as it sits at the base of the feeder. Even when tightly filled, once the food at the tip of the feeder is eaten, it’s hard to get to the rest of the food with how a baby naturally holds the item. Could be difficult for babies with small mouths to use as well.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Larger capacity than others [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This self feeder holds a lot more food than others I have tried which is a huge benefit as the purpose is to allow your baby to be more independent feeding him/herself (which also gives you a free hand to eat yourself!). I like how easy to clean it is since all the pieces come apart- just pop in the dishwasher or hand wash. It seems very sturdy and has survived many projectile launches onto the floor. I also love that I can do less prep aka not having to cut the skin off of food so the baby meals are easier! I do wish it was easier to open (it’s a press of a button and a twist) when your hands are a bit slippery from putting the food in it can be difficult. I will however continue to use!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Can't wait to use [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new tot is still is a little young, but I got this specifically to help introduce him to solid foods! We are just a few months away, and I think this is perfect contraption to give him a taste of fresh fruit without worrying about choking, etc. Every other product in my kitchen is an OXO product, and I've never been disappointed with OXO!! As a new mom, I'm guessing that the feeder will help with teething pain too (cold foods)! Can't wait to try it out!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Messy, but effective. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A great option for young eaters, but prepare for them to be covered in the food. Filling the self-feeder is simple and safe, thanks to the childproof lock. I found getting food out of the feeding holes to be a little trick, but with enough water pressure and toothpick, I was able to get it clean. I would recommend sanitizing after each use, just to be safe.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better pacifier than feeder [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This self-feeder works great for teething, and if you put food in it, the baby can also get nutrients but sometimes the food gets stuck in the holes. It also gets very slobbery (but honestly, what doesn't with a teething baby). Other than a little scrubbing to get the food out of the holes this product cleans easily and doesn't get smelly.

I've used the ones with the mesh bags and with one banana the bag on the others will turn brown and is impossible to wash. This one is perfect. Easy to use, easy to clean! the Silicone is soft for sweet little gums but strong enough for those sharp teeny teeth!

The silicon texture is nice, BPA free, and does not degrade over time. I wish the edges around the actual white plastic was also rubber because mine has some scratches. Other than that, it is great and would highly recommend this.
