Rated 3 out of 5 by from Want to LOVE, but it has flaws I purchased this in November for my 1 year old. I absolutely LOVE the concept, the design is awesome, it's wood! Oh and everything that's included, it's a great musical toy. However, the weight bearing properties of this chicken are completely lacking. It's not a stable toy, all of the weight is in the head of the chicken. The tail is supposed to be removed, so once that's off, the entire thing rocks and topples to one side once touched. Not to mention if your little one grabs at it, it will pop up and the cymbal will smack them in the face. I would NOT recommend this if your little one likes to use things to press up on like mine does. Sadly the chicken was labeled a "danger chicken", and went back into the box/closet until a much later time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Very cute Bought this for my daughter and I loved how it had different musical features. However, it’s not really stable. It’s an adorable toy but once the tail is off the chicken flops forward. This is a design flaw and honestly if it didn’t do that it would be perfect. Just have to keep a watchful eye on baby to make sure they don’t hurt themselves.

This little gem is an all-in-one. Compact, but lots of musical variety (although the tail shaker likes to fall off)

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Not safe for a 1 year old We got this as a gift and it is cute and my daughter likes it. But I can’t for the life of me understand why it rocks. It is super unstable and a perfect height for a one year old to try to pull the self up on but then rocks so easily in one direction. After one day and a bloody lip this got packed up. More appropriate for a child that is a little older and sturdier
