Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works great for my thick, wavy, complicated hair I have thick course wavy hair (a combination of my mom's wavy thick hair and my dad's afro hair). This makes things tricky since there's very little out there that address my type of hair. I've been using other wax gels like Suavecito for years and I'm very happy with the AC liquid wax. When first using I thought it was way too watery but as it dries it leaves a good modest hold. And since it starts off thinner than the competition, it goes in easier. As far as the fragrance, this is very subjective but it has the classic American Crew fragrance I've loved for years. Much more grown up than say the Suavecito that hits you in the face and everyone around you.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My husband swears by this stuff for styling his thick and wavy hair. He's used other brands over the years but said that even though this styling liquid is really expensive it's worth it for the way it looks and just works for him with the least effort or touching up.
