Rated 5 out of 5 by from Subtle Delight I received this fragrance as a sample with a purchase. It has a subtle reminder of summers in the south. You know that it"s there but you just can't figure out what it is. The smell is not heavy and it hits you every now and again as though a window was open just above a gardenia bush and the wind blew. If you've ever had that experience you will love it. I've used it on my screened in porch at night. Simply delightful.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I absolutely love this scent I absolutely love this scent more than anything and the products of Voluspa in general are just phenomenal! Unfortunately almost the entire candle was melted when it arrived, I was able to save a little bit less than half of it which was a huge bummer, but I guess that’s what you get when you live in sunny California. Love all Voluspa products, absolute best fragrances hands down.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gardenia Heaven I ordered this candle along with some of their larger 3-wick tin candles. This is the perfect size to keep on my bedside table. The scent is so fresh and smells exactly like it should- actual gardenia. These would also make great gifts- I plan to gift one to my mom as gardenia is one of our favorite scents. I’m overall so impressed with this brand!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So little, so cute, so perfect! I bought these originally as stocking stuffers for gifts at Christmas -- ended up buying double! I LOVE this scent. It's subtle hints of Gardenia are lovely and isn't too powerful but fills the space with just enough scent! I love keeping these smaller sized tins on my desk, gives my workspace a nice ambiance and smells so nice!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fragrance is mild and not true gardenia I'm disappointed in the fragrance of the candle. It kind of smells like gardenia but not a true representation. It's more of a mild, general floral. Nothing distinctive to identify it to gardenia. I purchased two different sizes of candles and it's the same thing. Definitely will not get this one again

(For sweet floral fragrances, I’m partial to Gardenia, jasmine, and orange blossom.) Since it’s impossible to know how a candle smells when purchasing online, I’ve been ordering small-ish candles to try. Will be ordering it in a larger size soon.

Having said that, it was my first time ordering on their website, normally I buy them at my local Spa. It took way too long...2 weeks wait is not acceptable specially if it was for a birthday gift. Will not order again through their site.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fresh as a Gardenia I can’t get enough of this candle scent! It truly smells like fresh gardenias and fills my home with a bright, airy, floral smell. It’s the perfect size with plenty of hours of burning time but will leave you wanting to order again.
