It is advertised to be compatible with ps4, pc, Xbox, and switch, however, it is only wirelessly compatible with pc and ps4! There are no details on the page that specify that! Also, if you do use the cord to hook up to your Xbox controller, you are not able to use the tuning on the headphones themselves. Only the master volume on the cord. Get it together JBL! Very inconvenient that I have to return these! I would have much rather been informed properly and bummed that they were not fully compatible with Xbox rather than having to spend the money and then go through the hassle of sending them back! 0 stars for this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Returned Setup was a process. I could have gotten passed that and been all right. The issue is that every-time you reboot the PC or they shut off to conserve battery you have to repair them, You have to hold the button on the dongle and head set every-time. I have other brands that once paired you just turned on the headset was good to go,I like the JBL sound. In music they are very good with solid bass; In games it was good in wide open spaces. Any conversation had way to much reverb. Much of this may have been able to be corrected, in the settings. However having; to set up, the headset every-time you use them, killed it for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best ever ever I've had them for a month now and must say I have never been more impressed in my life. First of all,they look pretty amazing,all lit up. Connecting them with pc cannot be more straightforward through the USB transmiter. Once you have them on,you are truly detached from the outside world,surround is magnificent, you can even say with precision where shooter is located.Their very snuggle fit makes not wanting to take them down during breaks.All buttons are at hand and lots of customisable features.Microphone is good and others can hear you very well and noise cancelling is well above any other i previously owned. They're well built and will last ages,not thinking of upgrading for a good while.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Great Sound, but Has Major Design Flaws I was very excited to receive this product. The packaging was great, and the installing the software was very easy. The headphones are very comfortable, sound great, and the noise cancelling works pretty well. The biggest design flaw comes with charging the headset. You cannot charge the headset and use the headset at the same time. As soon as the headset is plugged in, you cannot turn it on. Also, the noise cancelling is great when fully working, but every once in a while it will bug out and create a very unpleasant noise in your ear. The noise itself was kind of indescribable. Whatever the noise was, it made you feel like you had pressure from being underwater.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Solid set of gaming headphones Super impressed with these headphones. Sturdy enough for the kids to use without the risk of damage & also easily re sized. Sound quality is greatest these have been used for gaming & listening to music. You absolutely cannot hear a thing when someone is using them, great when the kids are gaming in the living room. Easily set up to the PS4. Overall very impressed - my only gripe would be the sound didn’t go high enough for me whilst listening to music, great for the kids as it stops them blasting their ears off but for me personally I like to listen a little louder.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from F in the chat Xbox review Headset is so heavy it makes your head hurt. Features don’t work on Xbox so you don’t get any of the experience on Xbox. You can’t even use the dials on the headsets on Xbox they don’t work the power of the headset is completely off when playing Xbox it is just running of 3.5 mm head jack no power no battery no features. I imagine this headset is spectacular when all the features work but the headset features are not compatible with Xbox and it’s not enough for the price and the huge headache you will get I will return and jump to quantum 400 because they are lighter hopefully they are just as good if not I’ll probably return those too

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If only the battery lasted longer The audio is crisp and while playing warzone 2.0 or rainbow six siege its my favorite of all time i use them daily and they work like a charm, the only downfall is the bsttery. The battery doesn’t last long as 14 hours. I stream and go online around 4 or 5pm and around 10 or 11pm my headset is already notifying me that its gonna die, yet the battery last for about 8 hours total wireless with dongle on playstation 4 and with the RGB Lighting on. If only the battery really last 14 hours. I would of given it a 5 star out of 5. That’s why i decided to give 4. But yes even the people that hear my voice say its very very clear. No lag etc.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from JBL quantum 800 [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would like to start off by saying I own 3 headsets now Tuttle beach , Astro a40’s , and now this one ! First the battery life is amazing and it comes with a cable if it does you can plug it straight into your controller. The quality of this headset is pretty good feels like strong durable materials. It’s overall pretty comfortable 4/5 . Everybody I play with says it sounds like they can hear me better than my astros ! I have used them for 3 days straight all day and I love them !! Perfect gaming headset imo!!!

What bluetooth codecs does this headset support? Does it support aptX adaptive, low latency, or HD? How about LDAC, LHDC, or LLAC?

It has AAC (44.1kHz and 16bits) for the higher quality 'Game' sound, and seemingly SBC for 'Chat'. My Samsung device claims there is no aptx or LDAC.

Can I simultaneously connect to a Mac wirelessly for Discord and an Xbox Series X or PlayStation 5 through 3.5mm or wirelessly for game audio?

Only one device at a time can connect to our JBL Quantum 800 wirelessly. You could connect one device through Bluetooth and connect the 3.5mm jack at the same time and the device that is connected through the audio cable will take priority.

What is the range of it frome the place its pluged into ?

Thank you for your interest in our products. The wireless dongle of our JBL Quantum 800 is 2.4G wifi so it will have a similar range to a typical home wifi router. Within a home with walls, you will likely have a range of up to 30-50 feet. In an open area, you should expect a range of 50 ft or more. This is all dependent on the area and physical interference like walls and floors, just like any wifi system.

Do these work with an Xbox Series S? I used these with a PS4 Pro (no problems) but neither the usb dongle or the 3.5mm seem to work with it.
