Rated 5 out of 5 by from Brilliant, Worthwhile Upgrade I have had an Apple TV 4K for a few years now which I have been very happy with. When some scaffolding on my house blocked my neighbours TV signal I decided to give it to him and upgrade to the sixth gen model. I wasn’t expecting much difference but was pleasantly surprised that the picture quality became noticeably better on my LG OLED TV. Everything is clearer and pops more. On top of the faster interface and better remote this was definitely a worthwhile upgrade for me. My neighbour is very happy too. :-)

Love it

The user interface is probably the easiest to use and you’ll get greater value if you’re already part of the apple ecosystem It is expensive but still worth it in my opinion

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best streaming device there is It offers what i would expect from a 4k device its fast not a single app loads slow streams are nice and smooth i use for live tv threenow and tvnz ondemand good wifi no issues after few months of using as i would expect as it has the latest wifi 6 generarion i also like how you can pause live streams i use skysport now alot and the frame rate is awesome i also have a chromecast with google tv and that i find to be just too slow

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great Product … but!! Great product, way better than Android Box BUT unfortunately you can’t download a web browser like Safari or Google. Also YouTube is not supported when you have an external bluetooth keyboard to use it for search. I hope Apple push a software update.

Can this be used to watch sky sport now on a non smart tv via hdmi

Thanks for your question Mary. Yes, you can stream Sky Sport Now on a non-smart TV with this model and using the HDMI connection. You will still require a WiFi connection to access apps and content. Purchases, rentals and Home Sharing require an Apple ID that you use for the App Store and other Apple services. Hope this helps!
