Rated 5 out of 5 by from why did I wait so long [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this oven, much larger inside than my previous oven of the same size, I was worried that it would be hard to use but it is surprisingly easy. I cook a lot of roasts and with the sensor and steam they come out perfect every time. Love that it tells me when it needs a clean. Love that I can preheat my oven when I'm out. So many features that I haven't used them all yet. The three telescopic rails are great. No hot spots, I can cook biscuits on more than one level at the same time and they always cook evenly. Easy to use the steam function. The oven heats up very quickly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great oven My new oven has been installed only two weeks ago and I am still learning how to make best use of all its features. I am wondering whether I should have purchased a "full" steam function though, as the stem functions on this model are very limited. It would be fantastic if AEG had some demonstrations about the oven. The AEG customer service person did suggest watching demonstrations on You Tube but I couldn't find anything on my particular oven. Had a minor issue with the display of the main oven not matching the compact microwave/combi oven above, but this was sorted very quickly by AEG Customer service.

The cooking efficiency and accuracy is brilliant; cooking creativity has gone up a notch because of this oven's reliability and dependability. The digital aspect of the oven helps make easy cooking decisions and selection of dishes because it is easy to follow and learn. The constant temperature readout gives clear readout on progress. We have already recommended it to a friend.

It's completely changed my baking life for the better. The capacity and the versatility has really surprised me. I can perfectly bake 100 meringues at a time using the 5 levels. Even result on all 5 levels. Set and forget.

I brought this oven with the thinking Steam was a gimmick but after attending the cooking demo and being shown how to use it, it has become my favourate feature. The oven is really quite and the controls are easy to use. I am impressed with the quality and proud of my purchase.

Would like to have had a decent recipe booklet with good basic examples for each function instead of trying to to juggle between the instruction pages and the few pages of some recipes and the website which is pretty rather than user friendly.

What is the decibel reading when fan baking

Thanks for your question Dave. While many ovens generate sound during operation, manufacturers often don't provide a dB rating for their products. This is impacted by several factors such as Varied Operating Conditions, Subjectivity of Perception, Kitchen Build Quality, and Other Audio Interference. If noise level is a significant consideration for you, check with your local store, and the team can make recommendations. Trust this helps! ^CO
